I'm no longer married. [Aug. 16th, 2005|02:56 pm]
[mood |calmcalm]

All I need now is the settlement loot and I can get on with the rest of my life :)

Funny thing, I thought I'd feel "different" somehow. I don't, I'm still *me*.

Glad about that really :)

The Wickerman Festival. [Jul. 26th, 2005|08:26 pm]
I went and fun was had.

I intend to right a full review when I get a bit more time. Time has been short mainly down to my car being sent off for scrapping last week and my ensuing new car hunt.

Funds aren't fantastic for this and I'm loathe to take on debt so it's gonn abe something 4/5 year old ish for around the 3k mark until I'm a little more solvent :P

Oh yeah, have a gander at http://www.thewickermanfestival.co.uk till I return :D

Peace out </hippy>

New Improved SlimLine Me!! [Jun. 5th, 2005|11:14 am]
Thanks to a combination of sensible eating and regular exercise I have lost 1 stone of unwanted human!

I know it sounds like the usual guff but I really do feel a *lot* better for it.

I still have some excess padding I don't want so I have set myself a new target of another half a stone to drop then I'll see what's what.

I shall be able to remove my shirt this summer with pride, just shield your eyes from my "almost blue whiter than white" paleness!!

Health Kick Week 2. [May. 16th, 2005|08:20 pm]
Well I was rather disappointed to see I'd only lost 1.5 lbs this week. :/

I should of course be judging my progress by means more scientific than a set of scales. Tape measures and such should be employed but I didn't think of that.

I definitely *feel* more streamlined though and am steadily increasing the duration and intensity of my cycling. An unforeseen circumstance has prevented me from starting Pilates but more of this when I get started.

The food side of things continues well, I now cook real food!! With as little processed stuff entering my system as possible. I even now have a potted garden of herbs in my backyard.

Another positive happening is that I have considerable more energy than in previous months.

Bionic Krash!!

Woo!! Yay!! [May. 16th, 2005|05:48 pm]
I'm an Uncle :D

My younger sister has had her first child.

Ethan McEwen was brought unto this world via c-section this morning. Mother, father and baby are all doing super.

My parents are overjoyed at their first grandchild and I fear my father will spoil this child muchly :)

Woo! [May. 9th, 2005|08:47 am]
I've been starting out on a change of eating habits and reacquainting myself with exercise.

This has resulted after 1 week in the loss of 4.5lb's of flab :)

I must say, I really do feel better for it. Looking to lose 1st initially then see how I look and feel after that.

Mainly thanks to taking up mountain biking again, eating healthily and I'm due to start a pilates class :) (which should help with my lower back issues too!"

I'd also like to include some weight training.
Wish I had room for a home gym though as going to an outside gym is just too much hassle right now.

Maybe a good set of dumbbells is in order.

Who knows maybe I *Will* have that beach bod this year :P
